Robert Gallotto

Robert Gallotto is a biotech entrepreneur and pharmaceutical executive with more than 30 years of experience building and leading companies focused on rare diseases and cystic fibrosis. As a member of the Board of Advisors at Ultimate Medicine, he provides strategic guidance on clinical translation, regulatory strategy, and product development, leveraging a proven track record of taking therapies from concept to market.

Mr. Gallotto has co-founded and led five biopharmaceutical companies, including Synspira Therapeutics, Allena Pharmaceuticals, and Alcresta Therapeutics, where he co-invented RELiZORB®, winner of the 2016 Medical Device Design Excellence Gold Medal Award. His work spans all stages of the product lifecycle—from early innovation through commercialization—supported by deep experience in venture philanthropy partnerships and FDA engagement.

He holds a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Stonehill College. Throughout his career, Mr. Gallotto has consistently bridged entrepreneurial science and patient impact, advancing novel therapeutics through innovative business models and strategic collaboration.
