Belén Fortes is Program Manager at Ultimate Medicine, where she leads strategic fundraising, investor engagement, and cross-functional program execution to advance the company’s therapeutic and diagnostic portfolio. An accomplished operator with extensive experience in diagnostics and biotech, she has managed complex programs from early development through commercialization and contributed to more than $70 million in capital funding across multiple rounds.

At Ultimate Medicine, Ms. Fortes drives investor outreach and diligence coordination, optimizing alignment between scientific, operational, and financial objectives. Prior to joining Ultimate Medicine, she held leadership roles at Universal Diagnostics, where she managed global product development, clinical operations, and U.S. market expansion initiatives.

Ms. Fortes holds an MBA with Honors from UNIR, dual BS degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Design Engineering from the University of Seville, and executive education from INSEAD. A multilingual and globally experienced professional, she combines strategic rigor with entrepreneurial execution to accelerate Ultimate Medicine’s growth and investor partnerships.
